Suggested Use: The unique citrus aroma of mandarin is mind-clearing and inspiring. It has also been used to help with indigestion, or in a cleaning recipe to freshen the air. It can also offer a cleansing / astringent effect in skin care products. Dilute to 2% with topical use. This is about 10 drops of essential oil per ounce of carrier oil. Dilute more heavily with sensitive skin.
History: Mandarins are an original citrus species, according to genetic studies. Oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruit, and tangerines are all hybrids.
